The Rosneft Pavilion completed its work at the International Russia Expo. The Company’s exposition became one of the main attractions for the guests of VDNH - more than 1.02 million people visited the Rosneft pavilion from November 4 to July 8.

The Rosneft pavilion hosted weekly themed events dedicated to the Company’s activities, its work in the regions of the Russian Federation, environmental and scientific projects, the cultural and geographical diversity of our country, important dates of federal significance and professional holidays. During the eight months of the exhibition, Rosneft organised 138 thematic weeks/days, which included over 70 different speeches and presentations, as well as 159 lectures.

The Company’s stand hosted a variety of masterclasses, quizzes, cultural and entertainment events every day. Since its opening, the Rosneft pavilion has hosted some 2,000 events.

The Rosneft pavilion with an area of two thousand square metres was built in the shortest possible time, the multimedia equipment of the exposition was created using modern technologies of content visualisation. More than two dozen films and videos were shown on screens inside and outside the pavilion, including 3D, VR content and photos. The exhibition featured real prototypes of digital field operator workstations, interactive educational and entertainment terminals, and vehicle simulators.

This made it possible to create an exhibition in the pavilion space that was rich in information and at the same time pleasant to look at and attractive for different age groups. The site included thematic areas dedicated to social issues and the Company’s sports projects. These include the grounds of the CSKA hockey club, which is owned by Rosneft, and the Lada Sport ROSNEFT racing team.

Audio guides have been prepared for adults and children in the form of an interactive tour. They were voiced by director, actor and People’s Artist of Russia Nikita Mikhalkov and ice dance Olympic champion Tatyana Navka.

The outdoor part of the pavilion includes areas for visitors’ rest, equipped with food trucks - fast food outlets of the Rosneft’s Zerno brand with freshly brewed coffee and specialty snacks from the Rosneft gas station chain. The interior of the Zerno café is recreated inside the pavilion.

The Rosneft pavilion at Russia Expo was promoted by a rich and varied programme. Announcements of the events were posted daily on multimedia screens, the exhibition’s website, the Company’s website and social networks. Even a casual visitor to the exhibition, strolling along the lanes of the VDNH, could easily find out about the current programme and enter the pavilion.

The Company’s events at Russia Expo were attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, heads of Russian regions, employees of Rosneft and its subsidiaries, and heads of the Company’s partners. Foreign delegations from China and Venezuela have also visited the pavilion.

Rosneft actively cooperated with the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which presented their achievements during the exhibition at the VDNH. The Company’s subsidiaries in 27 regions organised more than 450 scientific, educational, entertainment and cultural events.

The pavilion hosted the signing of memoranda of cooperation on the development of car tourism between Rosneft and the Altai Territory, the Samara, Arkhangelsk and Ulyanovsk Regions, the Republic of Udmurtia and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Rosneft pavilion featured daily screenings of documentary and feature films, as well as cartoons made with the Company’s support. There were 34 different films shown over the course of the exhibition. Three feature films - ‘The Legend of Sambo’, ‘The Flying Ship’ and ‘My Favourite Champion’ - were also screened in the pavilion’s cinema. As part of the events, guests were able to interact with the film crew, including directors, actors and producers.

During the exhibition, Rosneft organised more than 30 discussions and meetings with scientists, artists and sportsmen in its pavilion. In particular, the Company’s events were attended by renowned molecular biologist Konstantin Severinov, cosmonaut Elena Serova, two-time Olympic champion and honorary president of the CSKA ice hockey club Boris Mikhailov, world hockey champion Pavel Bure, multiple world sambo champion Nikita Kletskov and two-time Olympic champion Dmitry Eliseev, Svetlana Khorkina, Soviet and Russian TV presenter Alla Danko, pianist and People’s Artist of Russia Yuri Rozum, ice hockey players of the CSKA Ice Hockey Club, racers of the LADA Sport ROSNEFT team, world champions in aeronautics and many others.

The Company’s pavilion hosted 69 unique masterclasses for adults and children: bead-weaving, playing national instruments of the peoples of Russia, sambo (with the participation of world champions), drawing Arctic bioindicator animals, making Christmas tree toys and candles, crafts from recycled materials, origami, aqua mosaic, singing (by the Sretensky Monastery Choir), stage speaking and acting (by actor Artem Terekhov), and football (by footballers from Arsenal Tula).

There were about 50 performances by creative groups: Krasnoyarsk folklore group «Togokon», khomus player Mikhail Kornilov, Honoured Artist of Russia Denis Yuchenkov, as well as participants of the corporate programme «Energy of Talents», ethnic music performers from Evenkia, Tyumen theatre «Mimikriya», Russian folklore ensemble «Yaromil».

During the exhibition, Rosneft also held two raffles of LADA GRANTA cars among the visitors of the exhibition and Rosneft filling stations. The winners were announced on the main stage of the VDNH. The Sretensky Monastery Choir has performed several times on the main stage with the support of Rosneft.

There were regular quizzes and competitions at the exhibition, both daily and on theme days or events (based on the results of presentations or lectures). Visitors to the pavilion received commemorative prizes from the company for winning and participating.
